Seven-Day Detox Programs
The Detox program is an intermediate level program to help you to reset your lifestyle. Meals are provided with additional raw food and phytonutrients in the meals. The Detox program is designed with the whole food approach, and lifestyle interventions addressing sleep hygiene, stress management, hydration, mindful eating, and physical activity.

Q: How does this program work?
A: Here's how the program works:
1. Register for the program at the clinic.
2. Once registered, you’ll be given an appointment for pre-program screening, during which we take your measurements and/or review your lab results.
3. On the date of your pre-screening appointment, you’ll receive your pre-program screening and be given a booklet with all the information.
4. There is an orientation on the Monday of the program start date, at which time you'll receive all the instructions needed for the program. During the week of the program, you'll pick up the meals Monday to Thursday, between 4:30pm and 5:15pm and on Friday at 11:30am
5. The following week, you’ll come in for your post-program screening, where we’ll review your results and provide you with an individualized recommendation to continuously improve your health.
Q: When are the Seven-Day Detox programs offered in 2021?
A: There are seven Seven-Day Detox programs in 2021, which are offered: February 1-9; March 8-16; May 4-12; May 3-11; May 24-June 1; August 2-10; November 1-9; and November 29-December 7.
Q: What are the cost for INSURANCE?
A: AETNA: 100% covered! $55 co-pay, full reimbursement upon completion
NETCARE: 100% covered! $55 co-pay, full reimbursement upon completion
SELECTCARE: $147.50 co-pay, 1st 10 participants $135.00 co-pay
STAYWELL: $147.50 co-pay, $72.50 for 1st timer
Q: If I am a SelectCare member, how do I enroll for the first 10 participants' additional coverage rate?
A: Our registration for each program is open year-long. It is on a first-come, first-serve basis so please enroll as early as you can for the upcoming program.
Q: As a SelectCare member, if I missed the first 10 participants' additional coverage rate, will I still receive coverage for the program?
A: Yes. As a SelectCare Member, the cost is $147.50 and the remaining cost will be covered by your insurance.
Q: What is the cost for Medicaid members?
A: $295.00
Q: What is the cost for other insurances?
A: The Seven-Day Detox program covers Aetna, NetCare, SelectCare and Staywell insurances only. However, it is open to anyone at the full price of $295.00
Q: How do I register for the program?
A: Registration is located at the Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic on Ypao Road. Please proceed to the Patient Services counter, located in the main lobby, to register.
Q: What happens after the program?
A: After you complete the program, we strongly recommend you maintain the healthy way of eating and lifestyle habits. To learn more, we offer the Advanced Detox programs, designed to ensure you have the best knowledge on healthy lifestyle and dietary intake.
Q: Do I have to exercise on the program?
A: There is no requirement for exercise; however, studies consistently show that exercise can help to maintain a healthy weight (not regaining weight lost). If you have been exercising prior to joining the program, you may continue with the same exercise regimen. If you have not been exercising prior to joining the program, you may start exercising based on your physical abilities.
Q: Will my digestion be affected during the program?
A: Digestion is almost always affected in some way; however, usually for the better. While some may experience gassiness, bloating, stomach rumbling, others may not have these symptoms.
